Last week we talked about the importance John placed on our understanding that Jesus came in the flesh, not just as an apparition of God or a projection of God, but that he was the Word of God made flesh. The main reason John emphasizes this fact is because of how how God has dealt with sin. So, for the next few weeks we will looking at how we deal with sin after salvation.
