In the passage we are reading today, Jesus tells a parable about a wedding. It is an illustration that Jesus uses more than once in the gospels and in slightly different ways, which would not be unusual for a traveling teacher/preacher. In this version, we see a history of Israel and the invitation of the Gentiles into a place of blessing. What does it take to attend the banquet of the King?
