Why Wait?

Why Wait?  This was the two word question on a gospel leaflet from the LeTourneau Foundation.

The answer that was given:

“Come NOW, and let us reason together, says the LORD. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.”  — Isaiah 1:18 (KJV)

Which reminds me of what the Apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians, “…I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation. “ (2 Cor. 6:2)

God has a plan and His time to fulfill it. Many times in the prophets it is written, “in that day” or “it shall come to pass in that day”, referring to the time of God’s fulfillment. Although God has great plans to fulfill in the future, His call to us is now.   “ Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.” (Hebrews 4:7)

Greetings from Lagos Portugal. I just want to say how much I am enjoying Believe.I am so glad I am on your web sight . and took the time to see what Beleive was all about. It is such an encouragement and easy to follow. Sometimes here we are a bit short of material this is just what I needed. Have passed it on to some people in our local English language Anglican church. Thank you.
No matter where we are we can have fellowship with Jesus ,and this is encouraging me to stir up my relationship with the Lord as sometimes life seems to get in the way and it is normally our relationship with the Lord that suffers. Holy Spirit keep stirring us up. Jan Macleod x
