Worry

AUDIO ONLY

SUMMARY

Do you know what worry really is? When you get down to it, worry is the powerless form of prayer.

The only real difference between a prayer warrior and a powerless worrier is that the prayer warrior takes those pressing concerns and lays them before God in prayer, but the powerless worrier doesn’t do anything with these concerns. They just build up inside them until they become like a pressure cooker of worry. The concerns are never given to God, never released, never laid down, they just sit there and fester.

What does Jesus have to say about worry?

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.  34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. — Matthew 6:33-24
