The Standard of Judgment

SUMMARY
One of the topics which make people nervous, even hostile, is the idea of judgment. Many feel intimidated by the idea and some resent the notion altogether. However judgment does not need to worry us, the standard is the same for everyone regardless of race, culture, gender, and religious background. The standard is also simple to understand. The standard is simply…perfection. If one is able to be be found perfectly righteous then they are saved. No problem! Right?
12 All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. 13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.
