Advent 2022

God is hard to shop for. One of the themes found in the Bible, which I think is human nature, is that people often want to do something for God. They want to give him something or do something for him – but rarely are the things people want to do for God or give to God the things he asks for or values. So, what does God want from us? How can we express our love to a God who has (and is) everything?

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
