The Book of Malachi, Part 4

As we continued through Malachi, the passage we are covering is one which deals with the coming of the Messiah. It is not the second coming they were focusing on (which we tend to focus on) but the first coming – or the first “advent”.  However, there are several similarities to the expectation of God’s people as they prepare for the coming Messiah be it the first or second advent, which we will look at today.

“See, I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,” says the LORD Almighty.
