The Gospel of Matthew, Part 26
Judgment
AUDIO ONLY
SUMMARY
Judgement is a touchy subject. Jesus clearly says “Do not judge, or you too will be judged”, but then Jesus makes “judgment” statements all the time (particularly aimed at religious folks like the Pharisees), in spite of saying he does not judge. What’s the deal?
Other scriptures expect us to be able to make wise judgments, but they are still judgments! So let’s talk about what Jesus, and others in the scripture, say about judgment.
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. — Matthew 7:1-2
