The Book of Romans, Part 33
We have a duty. We have been called to take the message of rescue and hope to a world which despises the message. However, the world’s acceptance or rejection should not determine our actions. We go even though Satan opposes us, we go even though we may be abused, we go in the face of apathy, we go because it is the command given to us by our Lord to take every hedgerow, every hill, every town, every state, every country for Christ. We are the soldiers of God, armed with the gospel message, armed with love, armed with sacrifice. We go, because without relief, lives will be destroyed by the enemy.
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!
