The Motivation of the Season

What can I do to make the sacrifice of my God worthwhile? I am not talking about earning my salvation, but when I think about the life that has been given to me by God, sacrificed for by God, and renewed by God – a threefold gift of life, there is a part of me which wants this threefold gift to be well used. How can I be a person that Jesus would look at and say “You took everything I gave you and became the person I wanted you to be. When I look at you, the pain of the Cross was worth it.” Wouldn’t you like to be one Jesus could say that to?
