As we have been looking at the Gospel of Matthew, we are going through a speech that Jesus gave to his disciples as he sends them out to do the work he did and to widen the work of the Kingdom of God.
We are breaking down the speech into sections and looking at those. Last week we looked at “The Journey of Promise” and this week we are looking at “The Journey of Trust.” We pick up in Matthew chapter 10 verses 9-15.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
– Philippians 4:6-7
