COVID-19 Safety Update #7

As winter approaches, we would like to be able to offer heating and closed doors for the services. Therefore, from now on, we are requiring all attendees to the church services to be either vaccinated, recovered, or tested negative from Covid (3G).

Please make sure you bring along proof of vaccination, recovery, or negative test result.

In addition to showing proof of negative test result conducted at a test center, you may also present a declaration of negative test based on self-test which should be no older than 24 hours. You will receive a link to the declaration form via email after you sign up for one of our church services or activities.

We still ask you to sign up for the services online as we will continue to have a limit on our capacities. 3G allows us to sit closer together so we will ask people to keep 2 seats free between families (instead of 3 seats in the past).

Medical masks (FFP2, KN95, surgical) are mandatory during singing and while you move about the building but may be taken off while seated and not singing.

We continue to offer our Kid’s and Youth classes during the 11:15 AM service. Please sign up your child for one of the spots in the groups. All school age children are required to wear masks while inside the building.

We also have our nursery open for children age 0-3 in both services. Please sign up your child for one of the 5 spots online as well.

If you bring kids to the 9:30 AM service or do not have a reserved spot in the 11:15 AM Kid’s program, you will need to keep them with you for the entire duration of the service.

We will continue to have fellowship outside after each service where we offer coffee, tea, cookies, and cold drinks. We ask you to keep distance as good as possible also outside.

Outside seating is still available, but dress accordingly as we just have small tents that do not completely protect from rain and cold. You might want to bring along an umbrella on wet days.

If your plans change after you signed up to visit IBCD, please cancel your registration so we can plan your seat for someone else.

If you are feeling unwell, please stay home and do not come to the service – please cancel your registration

If you are diagnosed with Covid-19 after visiting IBCD, please inform us immediately via email to info@ibcd.de

By signing up to visit our worship services, you are also agreeing to follow the above-listed guidelines when you attend and that you will show your proof of 3G at the entrance.

We understand that these measures impact how we worship together, but they also provide an opportunity to love our neighbors as ourselves. It is our hope that we will soon be able to lift these restrictions and ask for your understanding and observance in the meantime.
