COVID-19 Safety Update #5
As you are most likely aware, there have been new regulations regarding the Covid-19 virus since Monday, November 2nd. While we are able to continue to hold worship services, there are some changes that we will be making to the regulations for IBCD worship services for the month of November. They are as follows:
- Masks must be worn at all times while on IBCD premises
- There will be no congregational singing during the worship time. The worship team will still lead in music worship, but all are encouraged to participate meditatively.
- Childcare for 1-5 year olds will be suspended and there is no Sunday School.
- There will be no fellowship time, we kindly ask you to leave IBCD premises right away after the service ends
We understand that these measures impact how we worship together, but they also provide an opportunity to love our neighbors as ourselves. It is our hope that we will soon be able to lift these restrictions and ask for your understanding and observance in the meantime.
Please also note that if you live in Düsseldorf, the city mandates that masks must be worn everywhere except undeveloped areas such as parks. You can find more information here.
